At Zilch, there are some limits in place when you pay over time. There are two types of limit:
- Available to split amount
- Open purchase limits
What is my available to split amount.
This is the amount you have to split over time when you pay in instalments. You can top this up by using Boost.
What if I’ve exhausted my available to split limit?
Paying off your pending instalments will replenish your limit.
How do I increase my limit?
Repaying early, or one time is likely to have a positive impact on your available to split amount. You can also connect to Open Banking which could increase your available to split limit.

What is an open purchase limit?
It’s the maximum number of purchases you can make with pending instalments remaining. If you have used them all up, you need to pay off an open purchase. Your open purchase limit will refresh when you have fully repaid an instalment purchase. Pro tip! - Your open purchase limit could increase when you make repayments on time.
What is “pay it all now” and are there limits?
When you select a purchase, the entire amount will be deducted from your linked debit card. You’ll get 5% back in Zilch Rewards. Rewards can be used as cash towards future purchases.
Your single purchase limit is £1500.
